We provide the flowers, you create the arrangements


How it works: Send us your most favorite inspiration pictures, tell us a little about your event, and let us figure out which flowers you will need and how much of each kind. Although we grow many varieties of flowers, there is a chance we may need to source from other local farms. We will place any orders necessary, pick up all of your flowers, and do a quick initial process of each flower. What does that mean? Some flowers such as roses or certain foliages need to be de-thorned, stripped of leaves on the stem and given a fresh cut, then placed into clean water. This will make your job of arranging much easier and faster. To clarify, you will be paying for the cost of flowers (at no additional markup) in addition to our fee of $200. We will be able to give you a very good estimate of what the cost of flowers will be. 


We will then have your flowers ready to be picked up at our home studio in Monroe 2-3 days before your event. We encourage you to pick up the flowers from us, but if that is not possible, we offer delivery beginning at $70+ depending on the location you need them at. 


The flat fee includes 4 hours worth of our labor. Generally we use about 1 hour to select the type of flowers and quantify them, 2 hours to pick up all the flower ingredients (either picking them ourselves at our farm or driving to other local growers), and 1 hour to process them and move them to clean buckets. You get to keep the buckets. If your event requires more time or special sourcing, we will bill additional time at $25 per hour. You will be notified ahead of time if we think your project requires extra time. 


Add-ons: if you don’t want to worry about how your DIY bouquet will turn out, you may opt to have us arrange it for you! We charge $50 for a bridal bouquet and $25 for each bridesmaid bouquet. You may also ask us to order vases for you. The time needed to pick vases for you will be billed at $25 per hour and you will be responsible for the costs of the vases at no additional markup.


Will you coach me on how to make arrangements? No. But a little “yes.” We are working on creating our own videos showing you how to make popular arrangements. Until we complete that task, we will direct you to online tutorials made by other people that we approve of. 


Some things we’ll ask you to agree to: We will do everything we can to get the flowers that we initially plan for, but things can change fast in the flower world. Not to worry! We will improvise and you won’t know the difference. We just ask that you’ll be ok with this. In addition, sometimes improvising on the spot will create differences in the final cost of flowers. We ask that you be flexible to a reasonable extent. For example: we plan for a certain type of STUNNING, local rose for your bouquet but the local market has changed their price or colors on the day we pick it up. We may opt to purchase a substitute that costs $20 extra than we originally planned. We will bill extra charges (if any) after the fact and send you an invoice. 


Great! So how do we sign up? We will ask for a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. Once we get the final quote and a signed contract, we will bill you for the remaining amount 1 month before your event. After that, we cannot refund due to cancellations or unforeseen circumstances. Unless the asshole Coronavirus comes up again. Then I won’t hold you to it and I’ll give you back the cost of your flowers.
